Error description

  • Environment:
    - Operating System: any windows
    ReqWeb 7.1.1.5 / Windows Server 2008 SP2 x64/ windows 2003

    Description of problem:
Sorting in catalog.txt not respected when adding new project to
    ReqWeb

I would expect that the order in the catalog.txt is respected,
    as it used to be.

This issue can be solved by restarting the ReqWeb servlet.
(Which is NOT a reasonable workaround on a production server..).

    Step to reproduce:
    1) Create a new project (Access or Oracle DB)

    2) Add this project to the Catalog.txt file used for ReqWeb; put
it somewhere in the middle of the list (there must be several
projects to demonstrate this issue). ?? Screen_Catalog.jpg

    3) Go on ReqWeb and check on the login page the order of the
    projects.
The newly added project is at the bottom of the list, though the
project was listed somewhere in the middle.

    Workaround:
    Restart servelet
