APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The kht library khtapache22dc.so, loaded by Apache, crashes
  when virtual host name, defined in httpd.conf may not be
  resolved.
  

Local fix

• Review error message generated during Apache start, in case of
  messages like:
  [error] (EAI 2)Name or service not known: Could not resolve host
  name xxx.yyy.zzz  ignoring!
  remove from configuration file httpd.conf all virtual servers
  which host names are not resolved during Apache startup.
  or
  temporarily (at the time of Apache startup) put in /etc/hosts
  all host names xxx.yyy.zzz
  

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

• Fixed version checks, if the virtual host is resolved, and avoid
  an access to a null data.
  In addition, a synchronization of the shared memory
  initialization is added, what prevents a potential problems
  during HTTP daemon or kht Agent restarts.
  
  The fix for this APAR is a part of maintenance package:
   interim fix pack 7.1.0.2-TIV-ITCAMAD-IF0003
