    Problem as Described:
    
    Issuing nmap -sT [Basic TCP port scanner] against a VOB server,
    as an unprivileged user, can end a db_server or vobrpc_server
    and disrupt ClearCase clients who have active connections.

  • A fix is available in ClearCase versions 7.1.1.8, 7.1.2.5
