APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • IMS PA does not properly check all records in a program-switch
chain before flushing 'old' records when storage high watermark
is hit.  This caused the ABENDS0C4 after label REC5600 about
x'6C90' into IPIIPROC.

Local fix

  • The job should complete normally when storage is unconstrained
(0M).  In this case the client was running with 64M.
As a short-term work-around, 384M or 512M can be specified.
