Error description

  • A HIPAA 837 transaction is incorrectly rejected due to the SBR
segment.

The SBR04 rule from the Implementation Guide states:

SITUATIONAL RULE: Required when SBR03 is not used and the group
name is available. If not required by this implementation
guide, do not send.

The SBR03 is being sent in the transaction, which means the
SBR04 should not be required.
