  • * SDSQSAPE(DSQ1BUDF) job creates functions but does not honor
SECAUTH for setting current SQLID.

* SDSQSAPE(DSQ1BUDF) is missing DD statement:
  //DSQDEFS  DD  DSN=&QMFTPRE..SDSQEXCE(DSQ1DEFS),DISP=SHR

Problem summary

* USERS AFFECTED: All QMF for TSO/CICS V10.1 users running     *
*                 install jobs DSQ1BUDF and DSQ1BSP.           *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Users installing QMF using secondary    *
*                      authorization ids were unable to run    *
*                      installation jobs DSQ1BUDF and DSQ1BSP. *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
QMF installation jobs DSQ1BUDF and DSQ1BSP were not making use
of the QMF installation exec DSQ1INST. Because of this, users
could not make use of the option to install using secondary
authorization ids (DSQ1DEFS option SECAUTH).  All other QMF
installation jobs are able to be run using secondary
authorization ids.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • QMF installation jobs DSQ1BUDF and DSQ1BSP have been updated to
make use of the QMF installation exec DSQ1INST. This will allow
users to run these jobs using secondary authorization ids as is
done in all other QMF installation jobs.
