Error description
Headline: '\\view is not accessible' for all but first Windows Terminal Services user APAR description: When attempting to access \\view from Microsoft Windows Explorer on a Windows Terminal Services system, such as Windows 2003 or Windows 2008, the following error is seen: ----- \\view is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. ----- This occurs when two or more users have attempted to access \\view on the same system. Only the first user is successful; all subsequent users will fail. Additionally, 'My Network Places ? Entire Network ? ClearCase Dynamic Views ? All Views' will fail in the same manner. This behavior has been observed in IBM Rational ClearCase 7.0 and 7.1. Steps to reproduce the issue: 1. From a Remote Desktop, login to a Windows 2003 system as a standard user. 2. Using Windows Explorer, access \\view (successful). 3. From a Remote Desktop, login to a Windows 2003 system as a second standard user. 4. Using Windows Explorer, access \\view. The error '\\view is not accessible' will be thrown. Workaround: Access views from M:\ or \\view\viewname
