  * USERS AFFECTED: All IMS High Performance Image Copy for z/OS *
  *                 Version 4 Release 2 users ( FMID=H1J0420 )   *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR provides the fixes for the    *
  *                      following problems:                     *
  *                                                              *
  *                      -HPIC Image Copy function terminates    *
  *                       with ABEND U0047 ( ABENDU0047 ) and    *
  *                       message DFS047A ( MSGDFS047A ) when    *
  *                       the DB QUIESCE command by TOIAUTO_Q=Y  *
  *                       is failed for HALDB or DB which has    *
  *                       DSG.                                   *
  *                                                              *
  *                      -HPIC Image Copy function terminates    *
  *                       with RC=08,                            *
  *                       message FABJ4611E ( MSGFABJ4611E ),    *
  *                       and FOI531W ( MSGFOI531W ) without     *
  *                       releasing the quiesced DB when DB is   *
  *                       accessed in data sharing environment   *
  *                       by more than one IMS system and HPIC   *
  *                       runs with TOIAUTO_Q=Y.                 *
  *                                                              *
  *                      -When more than 1 DEDB dataset is       *
  *                       processed in parallel, HPIC Image Copy *
  *                       function terminates with one of        *
  *                       following errors:                      *
  *                       - ABEND S301 (ABEND301) due to open    *
  *                         error for DEDB area data set.        *
  *                       - DEAD Lock for RECON data set.        *
  *                                                              *
  *                      -HPIC Image Copy function does not      *
  *                       allow to use some special characters   *
  *                       in the operand of VICDSN= keyword on   *
  *                       site default table.                    *
  *                                                              *
  *                      This APAR also provides the fix which   *
  *                      is corresponding to the following IMS   *
  *                      APARs:                                  *
  *                       PM25348 for IMS V9                     *
  *                       PM29452 for IMS V10                    *
  *                       PM29453 for IMS V11                    *
  *                       PM29454 for IMS V12                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR provides the fixes for the following problems:
  
  -HPIC Image Copy function terminates with
   ABEND U0047 ( ABENDU0047 ) and message DFS047A ( MSGDFS047A )
   when the DB QUIESCE command by TOIAUTO_Q=Y is failed for HALDB
   or DB which has DSG.
  
   HPIC should bypass DBRC authorization and IMAGE COPY process
   for HALDB or DB which has DSG when the DB QUIESCE command is
   failed.
  
  -HPIC Image Copy function terminates with RC=08,
   message FABJ4611E ( MSGFABJ4611E ), and FOI531W ( MSGFOI531W )
   without releasing the quiesced DB when DB is accessed in data
   sharing environment by more than one IMS system and HPIC runs
   with TOIAUTO_Q=Y.
  
   HPIC sends IMS TYPE2 command by SPOC of each IMS systems, which
   share the DB, at the same time although IMS TYPE2 command from
   one SPOC in the system effects for all IMS systems.
   HPIC should send IMS TYPE2 command form one SPOC in the SYSTEM
   for releasing the quiesced DB.
  
  -When more than 1 DEDB dataset is processed in parallel, HPIC
   Image Copy function terminates with one of following errors:
   - ABEND S301 (ABEND301) due to open error for DEDB area data
     set.
   - DEAD Lock for RECON data set.
  
   Since HPIC does not do ENQ for serialization of the DEDB OPEN
   process, it performs WAIT twice to the same ECB.
  
  -HPIC Image Copy function does not allow to use some special
   characters in the operand of VICDSN= keyword on site default
   table.
  
   HPIC should allow some special characters in the operand of
   VICDSN= keyword on site default table.
  
  This APAR also provides the fix which is corresponding to the
  following IMS APARs:
   PM25348 for IMS V9
   PM29452 for IMS V10
   PM29453 for IMS V11
   PM29454 for IMS V12
