  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When a change is made to a table which requires the table to be
  dropped and recreated, an abend may occur in the
  GEN_CONVERT_DATA routine at the machine instruction CLI
  18(R1),X'20' due to an invalid address in R1.  The error
  message, ADB9012E,  it is unclear from which module the error
  came from since it is used in multiple places.
  

Problem conclusion

• The contents of R1 were improperly set and used to reference
  storage.  The message, ADB9012E,  adds the module name where
  the error was found as part of the error message.
