  • DB2 ADMINISTRATION TOOL FOR Z/OS USING THE ALT TABLESPACE.
Changed table space DEFINE and SEGSIZE but only the SEGSIZE was
changed.

Allow redefine of the table space attribute DEFINE.
Note: In Version 7.2 of DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, on
panel ADB21SAR "Table Space", the DEFINE attribute can change
from NO to YES for a table space that has table(s) without
data.

In Version 10.1 of the DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, the
DEFINE attribute input field has no effect since support from
the Change Management function is not available at this time.

Work-around:
After the Analyze process, manually modify the DDL before
submitting the APPLY job.
