Error description

  • The DB2 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS generated DDL in the
wrong sequence when attempting to implement a RENAME of a column
on a table with a TRIGGER defined. The ALTER TABLE xxx RENAME
COLUMN aaa fails with a SQLCODE -750 as the DROP TRIGGER
statement is out of sequence and occurs after the RENAME
    statement rather than before it.

Local fix

  • Move the DROP TRIGGER statement such that it occurs before the
    ALTER TABLE RENAME COLUMN statement.
