  *                      version files containing LOB's became   *
  *                      non-compatible which is already         *
  *                      documented in the DB2 Object            *
  *                      Comparison Tool User's Guide.           *

  With LOB object support (version file header release marker
  '723'), old version files containing LOB's became
  non-compatible which is already documented in the DB2 Object
  Comparison Tool User's Guide.
  
  DB2 Object Compare is updated to issue a warning message to
  regenerate version files if the version files compared source
  or target are created before the version file header release
  marker '723'.
  
  The error message is issued when the version files
  generated from DB2 Object Comparison Tool 10 are
  compared against DB2 Object Comparison Tool 7.2.
  
  Header record is the first record in the version file.
  The version file release marker is of length 3 bytes
  and is located at displacement 86 in the header
  record.
  
  DB2 Object Comparison Tool User's Guide will be updated
  with the above warning and error messages.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 Object Compare is updated to issue a warning message to
  regenerate version files if the version files compared source
  or target are created before the version file header release
  marker '723.
