PM31883: Click the doors link in RTC work item, it will open a new DOORS client window, even though client already running

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Every time click the doors link in RTC work item, it will open a
  new DOORS client window, even though there is already a DOORS
  client opening.
  
  This problem only happens when creating DOORS-RTC link using
  Requirement Change Request in DOORS Change Management function.
  
  Reproduce steps:
  1. In DOORS module view, turn on the Requirement Change Request
  2. In the same module view, select one object, right click,
  select Requirement Change Request, select 'Send'
  3. In the pop up window, create a new workitem in RTC.
  4. Open RTC web client and go to that workitem created in #3,
  5. In Link page, there will be a link to DOORS object
  6. Click that link then you will find a new DOORS client will be
  opened although you have already one DOORS client opening in the
  same machine.
  
  On the other hand, with following steps, this problem will not
  happen:
  1. In DOORS module view, select one module, right click, select
  Link, select New Implement, select RTC project
  2. In the pop up window, create a new workitem in RTC.
  3. Open RTC web client and go to that workitem created in #2
  4. In Link page, there will be a link to DOORS object
  5. Click that link then you will find the existent DOORS client
  window will be pop up without opening a new client.
