PM31837: DRF DISP(NEW) DID NOT KEEP BWO(TYPEIMS) DEFINITION FOR ICS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DRF was used to do a total system recovery of 4 IMS systems.
  After the recovery, the ICs failed because the BWO(TYPEIMS)
  attribute of the VSAM file was not defined. We used DISP(NEW)
  option. There is no mention in the manual that all the VSAM
  attributes would not be set during the DELETE/DEFINE by DRF.

  cluster, after delete/redefine.
  

Problem conclusion

• The delete and redefine modules FRXDDCC0 and FRXDDCP0 have been
  modified to allow BWO(TYPEIMS) to be passed after delete and
  redefine.
