Error description

  • An ABEND might occur during a logical unload (SELECT) performed
in non native mode where the following conditions are
    fullfilled:
       - rowset fetch is enabled (UNLROWSET or ULROWSET > 1 and
DB2 release is V8 or higher)
       - the resulting table is empty
       - DB2 issues SQLCODE=+354
(cannot be seen within the HPU ouptut)
S0C4 is one of the possible ABENDs but the exact kind of ABEND
    is unpredictable.

    PB11050

Local fix

  • Add UNLROWSET 1 to OPTIONS block of the unload statement or
set INZTVAR parameter ULROWSET to 1.
