Error description

• With this APAR, the task CPU time consumed by the HASH check
  processing for DEDB areas will be reduced when the DEDB HASH
  check function (DEDBPC=Y) is used in an IMS High Performance
  Image Copy job.

  The DEDB Pointer Checker HASH Check that is invoked by IMS HP
  Image Copy contains numerous instances of variables defined in
  close proximity to instructions that modify them. If the
  distance between variable and instruction is less than the
  amount of storage cached for instruction prefetch, the
  modification invalidates the cache and the cache must be
  refreshed. This results in a performance degradation.
  
  This APAR reduces the task CPU time consumed by the HASH
  check processing for DEDB areas when the DEDB HASH check
  function is invoked by IMS HP Image Copy.
