Error description

  • Windows 32-bit??IBM Cognos 8.4.1 with fixpack 3
    applied.????Audit logging on the report service is set to
    Basic.????If a report contains an unknown reference, when it
    executes from within Report Studio, the error is logged in the
    cogserver.log file and in the COGIPF_RUNREPORT table with
    COGIPF_REPORTNAME = "adHocReport" and COGIPF_ERRORDETAILS
    contains??RSV-SRV-0066 A soap fault has been returned.
    QE-DEF-0030 Expression parsing error. QE-DEF-0359 The query
    contains a reference to at least one ublect '<name>' that does
    not exist, i.e. expected behaviour.????If the very same report
    executes from Cognos Connection, the error is logged in the
    cogserver.log file and to the execution history with a status of
    Failed but no record is written to the COGIPF_RUNREPORT table,
    i.e. unexpected behaviour.????If a report contains a prompt,
    when it executes from Cognos Connection, with Deliver set to
    "Save the report" and "Prompt for values" is unchecked, the
    error is logged in the cogserver.log file and to the execution
    history but no record is written to the COGIPF_RUNREPORT table.
    This is also unexpected behaviour.??The error in cogserver.log
    is??QFS-ERR-0139 The request has multiple errors. OP-ERR-0017
    There are prompts or variables that require values.??In a
    similar situation, the error??QE-DEF-0144 Prompt '<name>' has no
    substitution values??is written to the cogserver.log file but
    not to the COGIPF_RUNREPORT table.
