PM30561: ADB2UTIL FAILS RC20 RSN56 ABENDU4038 CALLING DB2 UTILITY

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Serviceability apar for DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS. When
  proper APF environment is not maintained, an attempt to execute
  a DB2 utility from Admin Tool can fail with error messages
  similar to the following:

    -AUTHORIZED COMMAND. CHECK LIBS

       ADB2UTIL call lib not found

  *                      to diagnose the exact source of the     *
  *                      failure in EXEC (ADB2UTLV).             *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Previously, if either the SYSDSN or LISTDSI failed, it was not
  possible to determine which command failed based on the single
  message and return code previously returned.
  

Problem conclusion

• When there is a failure in ADB2UTLV it will now echo the
  failing command either SYSDSN or LISTDSI as well as the result
  return code.
