PM28544: FUNCTION DS / DSP DOES NOT LIST INSTEAD OF TRIGGER

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, when function DS / DSP
  is used against an object which has a dependent Trigger
  created as
    CREATE TRIGGER <SCHEMA>.<trigger-name>
      INSTEAD OF INSERT ON <view-name>
      ....
      INSERT INTO <table-name> ....
  .
  Trigger does not show in list of dependencies

  *                 display a database structure.                *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In the DB2 Administration Tool for      *
  *                      z/OS, when the DS/DSP function is used  *
  *                      to display dependencies of a table      *
  *                      which has an INSTEAD OF trigger         *
  *                      dependent on a view, the trigger is     *
  *                      not displayed in the list of            *
  *                      dependencies.                           *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When the line commands DS/DSP are used against a table to show
  it's database structure, the list does not include INSTEAD OF
  triggers.
  

Problem conclusion

• The ADB21DS 'Database Structures' panel has been modified to
  support INSTEAD OF triggers.
