    * z/OS who generate WSL for the *
    * COMMENT ON TABLE statement that *
    * has an embedded semicolon. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the COMMENT ON TABLE *
    * statement has an embedded *

    *                      may generate a syntax error             *
    * which causes the validate WSL *
    *                      to fail with SQLCODEN10 and             *
    *                      SQLCODEN104.                            *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
    Validate WSL SQLCODEN10 and SQLCODEN104
    errors are observed due to an embedded semicolon
    in the COMMENT ON TABLE syntax.

Problem conclusion

  • The part has been modified to parse the statement
    correctly and generate correct statement in WSL.
