PM26390: DDL/GEN ISSUES PARSER ERROR WHEN A TABLE CORRELATION NAME IS A DB2 RESERVED WORD THAT IS NOT ENCLOSED IN QUOTES

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, when DDL / GEN function
  is issued on a View containing a DB2 word as table correlation
  name, parser message is issued:
       SQL stmt not completely parsed
  Error occurred when parsing the following stmt :
  CREATE VIEW viewowner.viewname AS
           SELECT columns.....
             FROM tbowner.tbname SET
       Token number =    152, Token = SET
  

Local fix

• Put quotes around the DB2 reserved word being used a
  correlation name

  *                      A parser error occurs on the            *
  *                      CONSTRAINT keyword when it is           *
  *                      not preceded by the ADD keyword.        *
  *                                                              *
  *                      e.g. ALTER TABLE table-name             *
  *                            CONSTRAINT constraint-name        *
  *                            ....;                             *
  *                                                              *
  *                      The DB2 SQL reference states the        *
  *                      ADD keyword is optional in some         *
  *                      cases, but the DB2 Administration       *
  *                      Tool's parser required the ADD          *
  *                      keyword.                                *
