Problem summary

  *                 function to create a table with LOB          *
  *                 columns.                                     *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The length specification is             *
  *                      ignored for LOB columns on the          *
  *                      Create Table statement.                 *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  When specifying a CLOB, BLOB, or DBCLOB column
  within the Create Table function, any length specification
  is ignored; the default of 1M will be used by DB2.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved. In addition, the
  following have been fixed for LOB column processing
  when using the Create Table function:
  
  - Error message ADB518 'LOB defined ROWID needed'
  was previously issued if the ROWID column was not
  specified along with the LOB column.  This is no longer
  issued for DB2 Version 8 and above.
  
  - For the Create Table LIKE, Model=YES specification,
  the DB2_GENERATED_ROWID_FOR_LOBS column
  generated by DB2 is not included in the column list
  adopted from the model table and populated on panel
  ADB26CTF 'Create Table Columns'.
