PM25618: MSVCP71.DLL AND MFC71.DLL ARE MISSING FROM BUSINESS VIEWPOINT CLIENT INSTALLATION

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After installing Business Viewpoint Client on a clean system ,
  when attempting to launch Cognos Configuration, there is a
  message informing the user that MSVCP71.dll is missing .  BVC
  Configuration can not launch??Note this will be fixed in a
  future release.??
  

Local fix

• Download and install the required Microsoft Run Time components.
    OR  install Business Viwpoint Server and copy <BVS_Install>/bi
  n/MSVCP71.dll to <BVC_Install>/bin and register .dll
