Environment: windowsXP Product name: IBM? Rational? Business Developer Program Version : 7.5.1.6 Problem Description: EGL editor the context menu takes about 10 seconds to open To reproduce the problem do the following. Open egl source file and in a function type reference to a 'large' sqlRecord followed by a point to activate the content assist functionality, this takes a very long time and after completing a statement the whole interface slows down.

Problem conclusion
The analysis showed that a significant amount of time was spent interning the strings that represent the part names in the workspace. Code was added to cache these interned strings.
