    manner and therefore connections remain in the pool for an
    unreasonable amount of time.

    Idle JAX-WS client connections are not cleaned up in a timely
    manner and therefore connections remain in the pool for an
    unreasonable amount of time.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The new functionality to release JAX-WS connections that
    have exceeded their idle timeout during the connection pool
    cleanup task is implemented.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.17.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
    page for delivery information:
