APAR status

Error description

  • IMS PA queues transactions based on Originating UOWID. When the
queue depth for an originating UOWID reaches 256, IMS PA
arbitrarily flushes these, via the report processors, to
conserve virtual storage. It then starts a new queue if more
transactions arrive with the same Originating UOWID, thereby
    producing multiple "partial" transactions.

Problem conclusion

  • Maintain a queue of up to 64K transactions per Originating UOWID
    before flushing the queue
