Error description

  • When ACB Reversal generate DBD source from a DEDB DBD member by
    control statement DECODE ACBDBD INCLUDE=dbdname specified
    and the ACBLIB has a PSB member which is larger than block
    size of ACBLIB, the ACB Reversal ends with ABEND0C4.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When ACBLIB includes a PSB member which *
    *                      is larger than block size of ACBLIB and *
    *                      the PSB has a DBD name list separated   *
    *                      into two or more blocks, following      *
    *                      problems occur.                         *

    *                      1. ACB Reversal gets ABENDS0C4 or DBD   *
    *                         version information is not decoded   *
    *                         when it decodes DBD source from a    *
    *                         DEDB DBD member.                     *

    *                         version information is not printed   *
    *                         when it prints MAP report of a DEDB  *

    When ACBLIB includes a PSB member which is larger than block
    size of ACB library and the PSB has a DBD name list separated
    into two or more blocks, following problems occur.
    
    1. ACB Reversal gets ABENDS0C4 or DBD version information is
       not decoded when DECODE ACBDBD INCLUDE=dbdname statement is
       specified to decode DBD source from a DEDB DBD member.
    
    2. ACB Mapper gets ABENDS0C4 or DBD version information is not
       printed when ACBDBD=dbdname statement is specified to print
       MAP report of a DEDB DBD member.
    
    3. ACB Compare gets ABENDS0C4 or DBD version information is not
       compered when REPORT=SOURCE and ACB=dbdname statements are
       specified to compare DEDB DBD members.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The FABNRDNL module has been modified to resolve the problems of
    ACB Reversal, ACB Mapper, and ACB Compare.
