PM21736: FOR SELECTED TRANSACTIONS ATF TRACE LEVEL 1 OUTPUT IS NULL AND TRACE LEVEL 2 & 3 OUTPUT REPEATS THE SUMMARY INFORMATION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ATF record information for IMS PA Trace reports is chained off
  the IMS PA accounting record. If the ATF record information is
  in multiple buffers the 2nd and subsequent buffers are
  incorrectly referenced at the header portion rather than the
  data portion, causing the ATF trace level 1 output to be
  null and trace level 2 & 3 output to repeat the summary
  information for selected transactions.

Problem conclusion

• Correct chaining through multiple ATF buffers in IMS PA
  trace reports, ensure all results are printed in the
  Level 1 trace before exiting the report processor.
