Error description

  • Users of QMF for TSO/CICS Version 8.1 will receive
    MSGDSQ10341 (DSQ10341) 'The database product (0.1.5) is not
    supported by QMF.' when invoking QMF in DB2 for z/OS Version 10.

Local fix

  • This fix is required for QMF for TSO/CICS Version 8.1 to be
    installed, migrated or run in a DB2 for z/OS Version 10
    database. QMF Version 9.1 users should install APAR PK93516.

    *                      V10 database will receive MSGDSQ10341   *
    *                      (DSQ10341) 'The database product        *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    QMF was not enabled to recognize a 2 digit database version
    identifier.

Problem conclusion

  • QMF runtime modules have been updated to recognize two digit
    database version identifiers. This allows QMF V8 to run in
    toleration mode of databases such as DB2 for z/OS V10.1. No new
    support for DB2 for z/OS Version 10 functionis added with this
    fix.
