Local fix

  • WTXCQ - WTX00035047
    PVB / PVB
    Circumvention: Use Oracle 11g client.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
WebSphere Transformation Extender users of the 8.3 version of
    the WTX Oracle 10g adapter.

    Problem Description:
The 8.3 release of the WTX Oracle 10g adapter is not functional
    on a Windows platform.

    Platforms Affected:
    Windows

Problem conclusion

  • The 8.3 release of the WTX Oracle 10g adapter is now compiled
with the 8.x version of the Microsoft C-run time modules.
Before this fix, the 7.x version of the Microsoft C-run time
modules were used, which in turn caused compatibility problems
between the adapter and other WTX runtime modules.

    Delivered in:
    8.3.0.3
