  Omegamon XE for DB2 Agent corrupted PVT storage (overlay of
  4 to 8 bytes ) effecting the zOS image.  Supervisor services
  address blocks overlaid.  A standalone dump was required to
  diagnose the problem.
  
  VARIABLE RECORDING AREA (SDWAVRA) shows DAMAGED PSASTAK PSA
  clobbered or overlaid or damaged . ABENDD78 RSN04 in KD5GBPIP +
  5EC at PM01829 level. ABENDD78 rsn04 D78 ABEND0C4 pic11 from
  High private storage having overlays .

  Additional symptoms:
  High CPU also reported
  ABEND0C4 pic11 in IXLA1MG or IXCG1QRY because of premature
  freeing of IXLMG dataarea.
  

Local fix

• Use ICAT to turn off GBP stats for all the DB2 subsystems
  that the agent is monitoring. Select "OMEGAMON XE for DB2 Agent"
  as the component in ICAT.  Then, option 2:
      Define DB2 subsystems to TEMS
  Then U to update each DB2 subsystem and set "Group Buffer pool
  statistics" and "Coupling Facility statistics" to 0
  (and run the job that is created). This will eliminate GBP
  being gathered and prevent the abend.
  Or remove the fix for PM01829 Uk57277 -R410 or UK57278- R420
