Error description

• DB2 Object Compare Tool can produce version files ( VER files)
  for source and target objects on tape, which are especially
  useful when VER files are very large.
  VER file output to a real tape device fails with  ADB2GEN
  abend0c1 in ADB2GEN statement 1998 when an attempt is made to
  UPDATE the VER file header record count data.

  Error indicators include ONCODE8091 and messages appear similar
  to the following:

  Program will rewrite to the version file to store the version
  record count in the header of the version file.  If the version
  resides on the tape / 'removable media' / 'CART'/ or '3480'
  device, the rewrite will fail.

• DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS 10.1 is fixed by PM59384
