OPC is enhanced to verify the SDEP segment length. If it is not in the range between the minimum length and the maximum length those are defined in DBD, a FPX0061E message is issued and the remainder of the CI is skipped. In the case of the compressed SDEP segment, it is verified whether it is in the range between 3 and the maximum length plus 10.
