Error description

  • Environment: Windows
    Product name: IBM? Rational? Business Developer

    Program Version    :  7.5.1.5
    Description.
    Editing Numeric values within the TUI properties view causes inc
    onsistant behavior between the code editor and the properties, d
    esign views.

    When editing a numeric value in the TUI with example form:
    NUMERIC-VALUE num(18,02)
      { position = [5,11], fieldLen = 22, validationOrder = 2,
        color = defaultColor, highlight = noHighlight,
        intensity = normalIntensity, protect = noProtect, numericSep
    arator = yes,
        sign = leading, align = right, fillCharacter = nullFill,
        Value = '999.999.999.999.999,99'};

    Notice the value uses grouping signs and a decimal symbol,it doe
    sn?t matter if it uses commas or periods.

    When editing this value within the Text Form editor with an appr
    opriate value ie 123,345,678,901,123.45 only 123 is represented
    within the field in TUI editor design view and then switching to
     the source tab the new numeric value is not correctly represent
    ed with parts apparently being duplicated ie 123,345,678,901,123
    .45678,901,123.45.

    Typing in the number again this time with quotes ie'123,456,789,
    012,345.67' the correct number appears to be represented within
    the code editor but after switching back to the source tab, and
    then back to design view once again the quotes again disappear a
    nd the values now shows an error condition within the code edito
    r.
