  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR is a forward fit of following *
  *                      HPIC V4.1 APAR:                         *
  *                                                              *
  *                      -PM16600                                *
  *                      HPIC does not issue /STA command when   *
  *                      TOSI RESPONSE macro time-out occurs     *
  *                      after /DBD command is issued. Then      *
  *                      'read only' status remains in DBRC.     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR is a forward fit of following HPIC V4.1 APAR:
  
  -PM16600
  HPIC does not issue /STA command when TOSI RESPONSE macro
  time-out occurs after /DBD command is issued. Then 'read only'
  status remains in DBRC.
  
  HPIC should issue /STA command even if /DBD and /DBR fail.
  

Problem conclusion

• FABJDBIM, FABJTOI and FABJSTA have been modified to issue /STA
  command when /DBD and /DBR command fail.
  
  FABJDMPN has been modified to issue /STA command when all /DBD
  and /DBR command fail.
  
  FABJTOI2, FABJDMP9, FABJDMPA and FABJDMPB have been reassembled.
