    ****************************************************************
The DB2 Administration Tool MIG function changes the ROWID,
IDENTITY and ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP columns from GENERATED ALWAYS
    to GENERATED BY DEFAULT.

Problem conclusion

  • Program has been modified to provide more options to the user.
The user is able to control whether to retain GENERATED ALWAYS
for the ROWID and ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP columns when data is
    being migrated.

These fields have been added to panel ADB28M "Migrate
    Parameters"

    Retain GENERATED ALWAYS:
        For ROWID . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : YES/NO
        For ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP. . . . : YES/NO

For the IDENTITY column, MIG will retain GENERATED ALWAYS
and use IDENTITYOVERRIDE to load the column data from
    the source to target.
