APAR status

Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS GEN function does not
create COMMENT ON TABLE syntax for an AUXILIARY table is the
GEN command is issued against the base table's tablespace.

Local fix

  • Issue the GEN command against the AUXILIARY table's tablespace
or use the COM line command to see the AUX tables COMMENTS.

generate COMMENT ON statements for auxiliary tables
when the GEN function is used on a table, tablespace,
or database that has dependent auxiliary tables.
