PM15888: ALC / RDEF FAILS WITH MSGDSNU070I RC8 RC08 IN LOAD UTILITY WITH MSG: KEYWORD OR OPERAND 'STATISTICS' INVALID WITH 'RESUME(YES)'

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS, use of AL / RDEF function
  can fail in LOAD step rc08 when customized utility options
  generated by ADB21SAM skeleton for the following conversion step
  (jobstep CONV2 ) options:

  Convert step runs ok, but failure is seen in subsequent LOAD
  step with LOAD utility messages similar to the following:

  An invalid LOAD Utility control card is generated
  upon RDEF TS after first applying the 'UT' line
  command on the Table Object, followed by the
  LO option setup of STATISTICS sub-parameters.
  The LOAD STEP can result in a RC08.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem has been resolved.
  
  Note:
  If a DB2 PTF with APAR PK88970 has been applied,
  the following DB2 message may occur against the
  DB2 LOAD Utility:
  "DSNU052I    187 05:51:54.05 DSNUGDFL -
  KEYWORD 'NUMRECS' INCOMPATIBLE WITH OTHER..."
  
  To resolve this DB2 error, the user must NOT specify a
  value for SORTKEYS since NUMRECS and SORTKEYS
  are mutually exclusive on the DB2 LOAD Utility.
