  • Message DSNT404I SQLCODE = 098 is issued can occur when at least
    one SELECT statement that's followed by another SELECT statement
    and its last predicate is not supported.

    * USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 High Performance Unload.        *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SQLCODE or SQLEROR due to unexpected    *
    *                      keyword is reported and the unload may  *
    *                      fail or output data are missing since   *
    *                      some SELECT statement are not           *
    *                      processed. This issue may occur when at *
    *                      least one SELECT statement followed by  *
    *                      another one (i.e. not the last SELECT   *
    *                      statement of several statements) has a  *
    *                      WHERE clause which last predicate is    *
    *                      not supported.                          *

    * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

    inzdyacc module was fixed to recognize any SQL scalar functions
    supported at DB2 V10 level - including those that are not
    natively processed by DB2 HPU - so that valid SQL syntaxes are
    correctly parsed.
