PM13935: Performance Expert Client and the OMEGAMON Classic Interface display incorrect DB2 Connect Server information

Obtain the fix for this APAR.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• User of OMEGAMON Classic interface can not view DB2 Connect
  server data
  on the ZTDBC panel or can view it only during certain periods of
  time.
  The message "No DB2 Connect server data available" indicates
  this problem.

Local fix

• Specify the same small value (e.g. 10 sec) for the all following
  startup parameters
  of the PE Server subtask: SHSTATISTICS, SHDB2CONNECTSYSTEM,
  SHTHREAD, SHDB2CONNECTAPPLICATION.
  Recycle DB2 PE Agent to get it to take the above intervals in
  use immediately.

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  Right away after PE Server subtask start-up or when the
  parameters Y/N in the
  SHDB2CONNECTSYSTEM=(parameter,interval) or/and
  SHDB2CONNECTAPPLICATION=(parameter,interval)
  subcommands for the PE Server subtask are inverted per
  MODIFY command, the Performance Expert Client and the
  OMEGAMON Classic Interface may indicate incorrect current
  statuses of DB2 Connect servers. Gateway snapshot times
  and corresponding DB2 Connect Server data may be incorrect
  as well or not available at all. It can take up to 10 minutes
  until DB2 Connect Server info becomes actual and trustworthy.
  
  PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
  Algorithm of finding actual gateway snapshot in the history
  data set has been improved. DB2 Connect data  trace has been
  appreciably extended in the code. Actual gateway snapshot time
  and other kinds of DB2 Connect Server information becomes
  actual and trustworthy within corresponding time intervals
  specified in the SHDB2CONNECTSYSTEM and
  SHDB2CONNECTAPPLICATION parameters.
