PM13327: IF A FLOATING POINT FIELD IS UPDATED BUT THE DISPLAYABLE FORMAT DOESN'T CHANGE, A POTENTIAL ALAA325E ERROR CAN OCCUR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If the only update to a row is a floating point column and the
  change does not change the new displayable value from the old
  displayable value, ALAA325E error will occur.
  
  Floating point numbers are approximate numbers and if the change
  is not significant to alter the displayable format such as
  adding 1 to a very large number, then the error can occur.
