Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool for z/OS issues a message:
  
     INVALID DATA SET NAME, '(ADB2ATH)'
  when customers specify 'AUTH' for the 'DB2 security exit type'
  field and do not specify a value for the 'DB2 Admin APF Library'
  field ( as the dataset is in the linklist on ) panel ADB2CUS1
  'Customization - General Parameters'.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: During DB2 Administration Tool          *
  *                      initialization, users may receive       *
  *                      msg:                                    *
  *                                                              *
  *                      'INVALID DATA SET NAME,(ADB2ATH)'       *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
  ****************************************************************
  When customization option 1 'General parameters for
  DB2 Admin' is selected in panel ADB2CUS1 when field
  'DB2 Admin APF Library' is null and SECEXIT is set to
  AUTH, then this msg is displayed and the user's
  session runs without having been processed by the
  DSN3@ATH exit routine.
  

Problem conclusion

• When 'DB2 Admin APF Library' is null, DB2 Administration
  Tool will invoke DSN3@ATH by using the standard
  system search order.
