PM12952: CEXPUBMN DURING SHUTDOWN OF IMS CONNECT 10/05/18 PTF PECHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• - An 0C4 can occur in CEXPUBMN at during shutdown of IMS
  Connect. The offset is at x'4844' when CEXPUBMN is at level
  PK79885 but the abend could occur at other levels of CEXPUBMN.
  - An ABEND32E rsn=11C can occur after APAR PM04642 when running
  the Publisher API

  This APAR is correcting the following problems:
  1.An 0C4 can occur in CEXPUBMN during shutdown of IMS Connect.
  The offset is at 004844 when CEXPUBMN is at level PK79885 but
  the abend could occur at other levels of CEXPUBMN.
  2.An Abend 32E rsn=11C can occur after APAR PM04642 when
  running the Publisher API.
  

Problem conclusion

• The following changes have been made for the above problems:
  1.Corrected CEXPUBMN to properly handle the error condition
  where the publisher clients MTT control block is not present.
  2.Corrected CEXAPMT1 to properly issue STIMERM request and
  avoid Abend 32E.
