This APAR is correcting the following problems:
    1. The event type 91 x'5B' command for security checking shows
the clients password in the clear.
    2. Provide an option on the ISPF panels to ignore certain
warnings that might occur during the definition process
    for CEX definitions.
    3. Provide improved diagnostics for TCP/IP errors that occur
    in Console Services.
    4. An 0C4 can occur in CEXPUBMN at during shutdown of
IMS Connect. The offset is at 004844 when CEXPUBMN
is at level PK79885 but the abend could occur at other
levels of CEXPUBMN. R4 is zero when the abend occurs
    5. Message CEX5119W should be an informational message not
    a warning
    6. Add the ability to control the routing of IMS Commands
using a new CEXROUTE command in the CEXCTLIN dataset.
    7. Recorder trace formatting utility error when ODBM recorder
    trace entries are present
    8. Changed CEXTECL trace routine APPBLD to use the message
total length field instead of searching for ending string.
    9. Changed import/export utility to close export output file.
    10. Change event records 97, 98, and 100 to match the changes
    made by IMS Connect.

Problem conclusion

  • The following changes have been made to correct the above
    mentioned problems:
    1. CEXTECL has been changed to mask the clients password for
the security check command code point 11A1.
    2. An option has been provided to allow certain errors that
currently prohibit creating a definition due to referential
    integrity checks to be ignored.
    3. Message CEX5401E is now written to the message log showing
failing function, return and reason codes for TCP/IP errors
    that occur in Console Services.
    4. Corrected CEXPUBMN to properly handle the error condition
where the publisher clients MTT control block is not present.
    5. Changed message CEX5119W to CEX5119I
    6. Included the CEXROUTE Command to the CEXCTLIN options
    dataset
    7. Corrected recorder trace utility CEXRCDUT to correctly
    process ODBM trace entries
    8. Changed CEXTECL trace routine APPBLD to use the message
total length field instead of searching for ending string.
    9. Changed import/export utility to close export output file.
    10. Change event records 97, 98, and 100 to match the changes
    made by IMS Connect.
