PM11927: FUNJRN03 AT IMS CONNECT SHUTDOWN IF JOURNAL ARCHIVE JOB SUBMITTED WITHOUT A VALID JOBCARD

Error description

• An 0C4 can occur in FUNJRN03 at shutdown of IMS Connect if a
  journal archive has been submitted and a valid jobcard was not
  contained in the CEX Systems member. Register 9 contains
  x'40404040' when the abend occurs. This can occur on an upgrade
  from CEX 120 to CEX 220. In CEX 120 the jobcard could optionally
  be in the archive skeleton. For CEX 220, the Job card should not
  be in the archive skeleton but in the Systems definition member.
  Additional symptom:
  MSGFUN1006S Internal logic error 001C0306.

  The following problems are being addressed in this APAR:
  1.An 0C4 can occur in FUNJRN03 at shutdown of IMS Connect if a
  journal archive has been submitted and a valid jobcard was not
  contained in the CEX Systems member. Register 9 contains
  x'40404040' when the abend occurs. This can occur on an upgrade
  from CEX 120 to CEX 220. In CEX 120 the jobcard could optionally
  be in the archive skeleton. For CEX 220, the Job card should not
  be in the archive skeleton but in the Systems definition member.
  2.Include changes to the common parsing module needed for GPL130
  

Problem conclusion

• 1.Corrected FUNJRN03 to detect the missing JOB card definition
  and prevent the 0C4. This APAR changes the way archive job
  submission works when a JOB card is missing from the systems
  member.
  2.Included the updated version of FUNPRS in this APAR
  User Action:
  1.SMP/E Receive and Apply the fix.
  2.Perform a shutdown and restart IMS Connect.
