  An EGL validation error is raised with the following code after
  upgrade from v7.1.0.x to v7.5.1.x:

  In 7.1.x, the restriction was removed so that contants could
  be passed to INOUT parms. Unfortunatly, this was broken
  sometime in 7.5.x.
  

Problem conclusion

• The validation has been loosened to allow the passing of
  constants to inout parms.
