  • The ClearCase Admin Console crashes with an mmc.exe error in
Windows.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • On a vista OS or 2003 Server machine, Administration Console
will report error in a pop-up dialog when Registry admin,
vob or view admin is selected. This issue has a valid
workaround wherein user needs to select the option:"Continue
running and always ignore errors with this snap-in,
regardless of user or session, and then click OK to accept
your selection", from the options given in the pop-up
dialog. Once selected, the error will never occur in future.
