* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The Object Comparison Tool              *
*                      received a RC=8 error loading           *
*                      DSNHDECP and terminated.                *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply The PTF.                               *
****************************************************************
The online DB2 Object Comparison Tool is invoked
as a program, not as a command.  If invoked as a
program, it runs in an environment with the library
structure of DB2 Administration Tool, which may or
may not have a library containing DSNHDECP.
If invoked as a command, it runs with a library
structure that has a library that contains
DSNHDECP (SDSNLOAD).

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The DB2 Object Comparison Tool was changed to correct
this problem.
