This is a typical scenario where in RDS is installed on a setup where Java SDK env is already set up. For such issues catalina file needs to be updated which is a part for RDS installation. A technote is created which describes the steps to update the file. http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21459688 For such kind of issues Creating a technote the only solution and a fix can't be provided.
