PM10463: IN ICAT SCREEN KD261P7 ADD NEW PARAMETER SPACE UNITS TO SPECIFY WHETHER NTH DATASET PRIMARY SPACE SIZE IN MEGABYTES OR CYLINDERS

APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible in next release.

Error description

• NTH VSAM datasets are only supported up to a size of 2GB. For
  those customers who prefer specify primary space size in
  megabytes check that limit 2047 is not exceeded. In case of
  cylinders limit can't be validated because the value depends on
  storage device.
  This APAR changes the default units back to cylinders, as was
  the case before PK98513. Customers who wish to use MB must
  explicitly set this as the unit.
  

Local fix

• If you have installed PK98513, then set the size value in MB and
  not in cylinders.
